Currently the Utah law reads that Master Estheticians may perform laser procedures under General Supervision (Doctor Supervising off-site). This is due to the 1200 hours in Skincare knowledge and the advanced curriculum found in our Master Esthetics course. We educate our students on the knowledge of the skin and its contraindications. This enables our students to be knowledgeable on any type of laser or medical device they are deemed by law to work on in the future. With that in mind, we value all our relationships with our medical partners and appreciate the new advances they share with our students. The Intro to lasers gives our graduates the basic knowledge they need to work in the medical field with their master esthetics license, without taking away from your main studies in skincare and the 1200 hours of esthetics training.

Skinworks, through our medical partners offer extended laser classes for students who wish to further their education in that area. The price for those trainings range from $500-$1500 depending on the intensity of the training. The Advanced Laser trainings are taught and maintained through them. Estheticians by law are not able to perform injections.
