In our Basic Esthetics Course we train our “Future Estheticians” in the application of esthetic techniques which include but are not limited to: Full theory of the skin to provide proper facial treatments, skin exfoliation techniques, product selection, extensive waxing techniques, natural nailcare, eye enhancements, electrical/machine facial treatments, along with a full makeup course. The importance of relaxation is taught to our students through chakra work, aromatherapies, and advanced massage techniques. In our real world “Student Spa” students are able to practice and perfect all techniques to prepare themselves to be successful in the esthetics industry.
Training also includes specialty treatments:
Collagen masque; paraffin masque; vitamin therapy masque; spa manicures and spa pedicures; paraffin bath; specialty hand and foot treatments.
The Basic Esthetician Training program involves 600 hours of Esthetics training and education. This is a State of Utah regulation requirement.

Tuition Includes:
Tuition covers a theory and practical instruction textbook, Theory Workbook, Practical Workbook and library, including audio/visual instructional material. State of the art equipment, Dermalogica Skin Care kit along with other specific advanced skincare products will be used during the practical training. (Textbook, workbook, supply kits, and handouts are included in the tuition).

Upon completion of the program & full tuition payment, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and all the necessary materials and instructions needed to apply for the State Board Exam. Job-placement assistance is offered if requested at that time.
If the student is continuing on with the Master’s program, it is not necessary to take the licensing test until finished with 1200 hours, Skinworks will help the student prepare for both the written and practical state licensing exam in the Master’s program.
